Loft in Olga's Cabin
As was tradition among the original German settlers of this community, we have given our accommodation a name: "Olga's Cabin". This charming house was constructed in the 1790's in Kentucky and was originally used as an inn. It was carefully disassembled and moved to its present location in 1994. Over the last six years, this cabin has been painstakingly restored to its current, pristine condition.
The name "Olga's Cabin" was chosen in honor of
Barbra's mother, Olga Stuckey. Olga is one of the thirteen children of Austrian immigrant Gustav von Mueller.
From the rustic exterior, guests are transported to a well-appointed interior that contains antiques and furnishings from throughout the world.
master bedroom features a comfortable, hand-made king sized bed and
a generous seating area. A roll-away bed is also available.
The centerpiece of the cabin's bathroom is the oversized whirlpool tub with its hand-held shower and imported Mexican tile.
A large loft area hosts a hand-painted metal, queen-sized bed as well as a comfortable antique twin bed.
The large living area centers around a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, while the adjacent dining area hosts hand-painted and antique décor. A small kitchen area provides a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffeemaker.
Jeff and Barbra Williams welcome you to the charm that is Fredericksburg and the magic that is the Texas Hill Country.
